Even though this looks white…it is mint. The jeans are mint and the shirt is mint and stripes… I tried so hard to get a good picture of this, but I couldn’t. So just picture lots and lots of mint I can’t help it. I am still so in love with mint I tend to buy it A LOT.
Today I got to go on a field trip with my 1st grader. He is such a little cutie. He is still at the stage where he likes me around and he held my hand all day. I loved it. It was also hilarious as we drove home on the bus after the field trip that three giggly little girls came up and poked and teased him all the way home. The boy is a woman magnet
I am not a stylist nor do I pretend to be. I am more of a girl who just likes clothes and thinks its fun to try new things in fashion. I was asked by a friend to help her put together some outfits for an upcoming business trip from the things she already had in her closet.
I have to say I was pretty nervous about it. I know what I like, but everyone has different styles and wouldn’t exactly wear the same thing.
Well, I am happy to say that we put together some seriously CUTE looks for her business trip! It was fun to realize that styling someone else might not be as overwhelming as I once thought, in fact it was so much fun!!
I hope everyone had a lovely Memorial Day. Ours was spent getting up at 7:45 AM for a soccer tournament final game. Normally I like a good sleep in on holidays, but it was fun to get up and watch our boys play their hearts out in this game. They won.
Which meant that they played again later that day…so once again there wasn’t much Memorial Day festivities going on.
The boys played that game and won the championship. I can’t even tell you how fun it was to see them win. Our team was less than stellar last fall, so they have come a very long way.
My boys kept singing “We are the Champions” all day, which I have had to lecture them about singing it at school as two of the kids we played on the other team are in my oldest’s class.
They got medals and everything and it was all very cool. Once they won the game one of the parents brought out a cooler full of water balloons which quickly got out of control in a water balloon fight and I am pretty sure they boys will remember it forever.
After that we were too exhausted to much of anything. We went out to dinner and then took the boys to the grocery store letting them pick which treats they wanted and headed home to watch a movie. It was definitely a little different than a normal Memorial Day, but it worked for us! In my book any day where Josh doesn’t have to go to work and we get to be together as a family the whole day is a good one.
