Winding Down

The weather is still so nice and warm, but I have to admit now that school is starting a huge part of me is ready to jump into fall.  We have had a few cool days so I tried to wear a fun slouchy sweater I recently bought the other day, but sad to say I sweated to death!

I guess I will get use to summer dressing for at least another month…

Rose Royce Brand Ambassador

Hello lovlies, I am currently in a contest to be a Rose Royce brand ambassador.  I would love it if you would go here and vote for me!
One awesome thing Rose Royce is doing currently is to give all my wonderful readers a discount on their cute jeans!  From now until September 15th you can get 10% off your purchase at if you use code blogger10. You can also qualify for free shipping if you spend over $100!  Serious deal.
These jeans that I am wearing in this post and the pair in this post are Rose Royce and I have gotten SO MANY compliments on them.
Today was the perfect day to wear these jeans, it had been raining all day and there was a bit of a chill in the air.  I have had a hard time letting go of summer, but I think I am ready to move on to autumn (especially autumn fashion!)

Running Errands

Untitled #7
Most days I spend a lot of time running here and there.  I need functional clothing, but I definitely want it to be cute.  This is my perfect idea of a autumn “errand running” look.

Back to School

Well, summer break for us has come to an end…it has been such a fun few months, but I am ready to change pace back to our school schedule.
To be honest, I worked so hard at making sure that the boys had a fun summer, that I am pretty exhausted.  For some reason I keep thinking it will slow down now that school is starting…but I am sure that isn’t going to happen.
This past weekend my cute Palmer got to fly to Denver with Josh and go to a Broncos game.  It was so much better because it was on his birthday.  I think it is a birthday he will remember for a long time.

We celebrated his birthday the next day when he got home from his fun trip.  I have always wanted to take a cake decorating class…but until then I do my best at my boys cakes.  This one is supposed to be a Denver Broncos cake…can you tell?
I am hoping that this school year is a good one.  We have three awesome teachers I am excited about.  I just love back to school time and I remember vividly how I felt when I was going back to school.  This time of year felt so exciting and it still does to me.  I wish I were going back to school!

I think every first day of school calls for an apple for the teacher, this version is just a bit sweeter :)

Autumn Transition Look

This is my second look in the Wallis Style blogger transition contest.  I love the look of a leather jacket (and the price of a faux leather jacket) and I especially love the look of this one!
My first look was summer dressy so I thought this one should be autumn casual.  I am getting so excited about dressing for cooler weather.
In other news, I am also in a contest to be the new Brand Ambassador for Rose Royce clothing.  I would love your vote!  Go here to participate!
